A PLATTER OF FIGS

Not a platter, but a bowl of figs landed at my door yesterday.

Beautiful. Delicious. Figs.

I baked some whole with chicken breasts marinated in basil, lemon juice, olive oil and black pepper for lunch.

A Platter of Figs is just as delicious.

    I picked figs the day before yesterday and we’ve just been eating them as is, but maybe I’ll try your recipe for lunch, with tofu instead of chicken!

      I just roasted halved figs under the broiler then added them to slices of baguette topped with brie cheese with a sprinkle of coarse-ground sea salt… Delicious!!
