BUILD A WARDROBE 2017: THE FACTORY DRESS SLEEVE

By popular demand, we have created a sleeve for the Factory Dress for those of you who have either subscribed to Build a Wardrobe or purchased the Factory Dress pattern online. The sleeve was drafted to fit the existing armhole on the pattern, so no adjustments will need to be made before attaching your sleeve.

I am delighted with the addition of sleeves. I bought the pattern, but as an older woman, my arms are best hidden. Thank you!

I wonder if this sleeve could be used on the other sleeveless tops and tunics (camisole, tank, fitted) from the books.

God bless you!!! As a 55 year old woman whose arms aren’t as toned as they used to be (despite swimming) sleeves are a must. I haven’t made this dress yet despite loving the pattern because I didn’t want it to be sleeveless. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    Hello,
I just purchased the Factory Dress Pattern, in digital format, and am having trouble finding the sleeve pattern. I checked the Resources page, but am just not seeing it. Can you point me in the right direction?
    Thanks ever so much,
    Missy

      Hi Missy,
The Sleeve pattern is linked throughout the post as it is not on our website anymore. You can find it through one of the sleeve links above.

      Happy sewing!
