VARIEGATED EMBROIDERY FLOSS

Common in botany, the word variegated means to exhibit different colors, and it often refers to leaves and foliage on plants that show the appearance of differently colored zones. Now in six color variations, we’ve expanded our Variegated Embroidery Floss offerings to Black, Green, Blue, Red, Rust, and Gold. Each color slowly fades from a saturated hue to a more muted tone. The faded effect looks striking in a row of stitches.

Our variegated floss was previously sold as skeins, but you can now find the 6-ply 100% cotton floss spun on sturdy wooden spools.

The variegated flosses gives garments so much more detail in such a simple way. The new colors are beautiful, especially the Rust that ‘s above. Now, what to make with them!
