the kindest words my father said to me
women like you drown oceans

The body makes complicated curves, and they bend, stand, and turn in intricate ways. The female form in particular can be a study in softness and power—more of one than the other, and the reverse. We have been taught to conform and contort ourselves to fit spaces that others have built.
For our Spring Collection refresh, we have taken works by artists like Louise Bourgeois and Egidio Costantini and used their complex forms and twists for inspiration. The meaning behind each garment—its degree of darkness or light—will depend upon the wearer.
Our new silhouettes are feminine and flattering, but allow for experimentation, in combination with your current wardrobe. This is a distinctly Alabama Chanin Collection.
