The Factory Dress has long been a favorite at The School of Making. The A-line style features a fitted bust, slight flair from the waist, princess seams, and high rounded neckline. We find this style to be flattering on a wide range of body types and can easily be dressed up or down.

The School of Making now offers new fabric options for The Factory Dress Kit. As always, our sewing kits comes ready to sew with pre-cut and pre-stenciled fabric and all the thread and notions required to complete any project. Now available in 20 unique color ways that include the Magdalena, Abstract, News Leaves, and Anna’s Garden stencil designs and six size options. An optional sleeve is also available as a digital download that you can print from your home computer.

Is this dress pattern in one of your books?
And when do you think you will get more paper fractal patterns?
Hi, Carol! The Factory Dress is not featured in any of the Studio Books. It was part of our 2017 Build a Wardrobe program, but you can use the Studio Books for applique, stenciling, and embroidery inspiration. When you order the pattern, construction instructions will be included. We are expected the Fractal Dress pattern to be back in stock this coming week.
