“Those who have long enjoyed such privileges as we enjoy forget in time that men have died to win them.” ― Franklin D. Roosevelt
Celebrating the unofficial start of summer, Memorial Day brings cookouts, beach trips, and an extra day off from work for many. The holiday has a deeper, and much more important, meaning: honoring and remembering the men and women in the armed services that have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. With social distancing playing such a huge part in our lives at the moment, it is allowing us this unique time, away from the business and crowds of a typical Memorial Day, to reflect on the military veterans that have given so much to us and our country. We hope this Memorial Day is for you, like it is for us, a time of meaningful consideration of all that we have to be grateful for and all the people who have made those things possible.
