Every year since 1970 Earth Day has been celebrated on April 22nd. This year, as in years past, the holiday serves as a reminder to all who call Earth home that it is our responsibility to care for, sustain, and protect the Earth and all its resources, flora, and fauna. In honor of Earth Day, this week we are focusing on one of Earth’s most vast ecosystems, the ocean. Explore organizations doing the good work of marine conservation and ways you can help below.

We’re hosting a Spring Cleaning Sale at The Factory beginning Tuesday, April 20th, and are excited to open this to our community. Order and organization are two of Alabama Chanin’s core values and, during this season of renewal, we’ve taken an inventory of materials, unique finds, and inventory that we’d like to rehome. Find sale dates and hours below.

The sale will be hosted in The Factory Store alongside our Collection and The School of Making products, if you’d like to explore new arrivals (or Mother’s Day gifts) while you’re in the neighborhood. As a safety precaution, our capacity will be limited to 20 guests at a time and require that masks are worn during your visit.
