Project Threadways (@projectthreadways) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) that records, studies, and explores the history of textiles. Their 2022 symposium, Textiles and Activism, was hosted at The Factory two weeks ago and explored the use of textiles as a vehicle for activism and empowerment through a series of presentations led by educators, activists, makers, and scholars. Thanks to all who joined us at The Factory for Project Threadways 2022 Symposium (Look for more from the event in next week’s Stories We Love post).
